Fisher Price In-Tiggy-Tainer!

You've never seen a kid have so much fun with so many different toys at once. I'd like to tell you we mortgaged the house and spent a fortune on state-of-the-art infant entertainment, but keeping up with the Jones' wasn't in mind when we purchased all the bells and whistles for our little Lady Bug.

The truth is; we found most of this stuff in second-hand stores or we bought it after hours on-line trawling through the 'Used Gizmos' section on Kijiji.

We scored the little chair pictured here at the Superstore for $10 without the packaging - and it usually retails for $99.99...

Charlotte doesn't seem to mind that plenty of other kids have gummed all her toys before her. Are you kidding, she's nine months old - toddlers don't have egos. I bet you were wishing you could be having so much fun with a used car from O'Regan's, or a ragged old cat from the SPCA.

Check it out; her squeal says it all;

If anything, it's a testament to the durability and practicality of the trinkets and worldly goods produced by Fisher Price. From a tree-hugger's perspective (and as one who is concerned about reclaiming the living room one day), I'm extra stoked about this stuff being second hand.

One day soon, some other little fingers are going to spin the dials and turn the page. I'm sure they too will feel like the luckiest kid alive and they too will have just as much fun as Charlotte is having with these toys right now.

Push the buttons, tra la la; sing the songs girl, ba ba baa...

Don't worry Tiggy, we'll hold onto them for a while yet. You're just having way too much fun. I know there will come a time when we'll give some of these things away but not until you're finished drooling on your ABC's and wiping goobers on your 123's!

Play away little one, til your little heart's content.
Love you kiddo, big kisses too.

Have lots of fun, from Mum and Dad, xx
