Takeshi Origami

We had a wonderful visit from our friend Takeshi Oka who is studying abroad in Boston, MA.

At first, Charlotte was totally shy and didn't quite know how to take our Japanese guest--but before long, he had produced Angry Birds on his iPad, (broken screen and all), and was crafting paper cranes and aeroplanes for Charlotte.

By the end of the week, the terrible twosome were all but inseperable. All they did was giggle, and play, and watch cartoons together.

In fact, Charlotte now has a taste for sushi and has miso soup with her usual scrambled eggs and peanut butter and jelly.

Great having you here with is in Halifax, Takeshi. Enjoy your time with Shiori in New York, and good luck with your final semester as a student.

We are looking forward to catching up with you and Yoko in Halifax over the Xmas break. I'll have some eggnog waiting for you when you arrive ;)
