Dunedin-Auckland: Start of the Homeward Stretch

Returning the Rentals and rushing to get things done and left early in the morning... Gassed up before the airport, and checked in the old bomb...

Drove (nostalgically) past Mainland Aviation Services, (where Will learned to fly)...

Michelle asked 'The Southern Man' if he thinks it is snowing in Canada?

 Nice one, Michelle (groan).

All was soon forgotten after the first flight ended abruply in Christchurch airport (it was a connecting flight), and we got to eat chocolate and check out some of the airport shops.
Realizing we were only having short flights today, and that Niccy-Niccy was waiting for us somewhere at the end, Charlotte was much happier boarding the second flight from Chch. to Dunedin (and somewhat intrigued by the way kids got to hand out lollies to all the passengers).

15,661 km journey home to Halifax, begins...

...but not before taking a night's respite back in the land of the Almighty Superhuman J.A.F.A. (as my cousin Rata has been known to describe it).
